About us

Affinity Show Choir have been established since June 2010, starting out as a handful of ladies we now have over 40 members. We rehearse every Thursday at Moorfield Primary School from 7.30pm to 10pm. We are an a cappella group usually with 4 parts (unless we have a soloist) Bass, Tenor, Baritone and Lead.  We sing renditions from all genres, from Billy Joel, George Michael, right up to recent pop, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake and Elbow are to name but a few!

Competing is our biggest love and if there’s a competition on, we’re there. We’ve been on several stages nationally and internationally, recently competing at Bangor Choral festival in Northern Ireland and we didn’t come away empty handed! We’ve even competed in Choirs of the World at the international Eisteddfod, wow, what a day that was and we were on the TV! We are also available for hire-no event too small or too big, you can book all of us or just 4 of us, weddings, corporate events, festivals, seasonal celebrations…we do them all!
